A Cruise with a Crime – a Murder Mystery Experience on a Cruise along the Gliwice Canal

Do you enjoy solving criminal puzzles in the atmosphere of classic Agatha Christie novels?
Have you ever dreamed of an evening cruise along the historic Gliwice Canal aboard the vintage vessel “Dziewanna”?
Would you like to travel back in time to the 1930s for a few hours and become a detective on the trail of a mysterious crime?

Now it’s possible!

On behalf of Marina Gliwice and Silesia Events, we invite you on Saturday, 9 May 2026 to a one-of-a-kind theatrical murder mystery game in Poland, taking place during a cruise aboard a historic ship along the Gliwice Canal!

For the duration of the game, you will assume the role of assistants to a detective from the renowned Pinkerton Detective Agency. Your mission will be to solve the mystery of a suspicious death that occurred on board the ship. You must support the police, who have reached a dead end, and identify the murderer before midnight strikes!

🔎💥 The game begins at 6:00 p.m. at the new and beautiful Marina Gliwice, located at 100 Portowa Street, Gliwice.
During the official opening, you will receive stylised case files, including a reprint of an interwar newspaper and a police report. With the files in hand, you will immediately begin your investigation.

🔎💥 You will then board the historic vessel “Dziewanna” and set off on the cruise.
You will visit the cabin where the mysterious crime took place and examine physical evidence secured by the police during the inspection. You will also meet several intriguing characters connected to the victim, who will answer your probing questions during interrogations—though do not expect them to reveal their secrets easily!

🔎💥 During the cruise, stops are planned with opportunities to disembark. Important clues awaiting you on land will bring you closer to solving the mystery.

🔎💥 We will ensure that at the most scenic locations along the Gliwice Canal route, you have time to admire nature and beautiful views.

🔎💥 A bar on the lower deck will offer hot and cold drinks as well as snacks for purchase.

🔎💥 The game will conclude at approximately 10:30 p.m. During the ceremonial finale, featuring all actors and the author of the script and mystery, you will discover whether you managed to outsmart the murderer!

🔎💥 As a souvenir, you will receive a folder containing episodic audio crime puzzles hidden behind QR codes, to be listened to and solved at home.

HOW TO TAKE PART

Participation in the game on board the ship is open to persons aged 16 and over.
You may take part individually or in a self-organised team. There is no limit to team size.

The ship is not adapted for wheelchair users 👨‍🦽, and participation is not recommended for individuals with mobility difficulties.

The ticket price includes:
🎯 A cruise aboard the historic vessel “Dziewanna” along the Gliwice Canal from Gliwice to the Cormorant Colony and back.
(The route will differ slightly from the standard one and will include additional stops.)
🎯 A seated place on the upper or lower deck (seat allocation on the day of the event; guests purchasing tickets together will be seated next to each other).
🎯 A multi-hour, story-driven murder mystery game featuring a cast of actors in 1930s-style costumes.
🎯 A set of stylised case files with over 20 elements, including a reprint of a period newspaper.
🎯 A commemorative folder with crime puzzles as a souvenir of participation.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

The organisers reserve the right to:
– Cancel the event if fewer than 120 tickets are sold. Information about cancellation will be provided no later than 4 May 2026 at 8:00 p.m.
– Cancel the event or change the route if necessary due to weather conditions or water levels in the Gliwice Canal.

In the event of cancellation, organisers guarantee a full refund of the ticket price.
