Motorboat Training

Marina Gliwice organises motorboat licence training courses. Theoretical training takes place periodically throughout the whole season at Marina Gliwice. It includes 6 hours of lectures and as many as 6 hours of practical and manoeuvring classes!!! The course has a individual character and carried out 7 days a week with an instructor, just like in a driving school. We guarantee the best preparation for the final exam, which takes place in our headquarters shortly after the course. Participants can choose between an exam organized by Polish Motorboat and Water Ski Association (PZMWiNW) or an ISSA exam, which can be scheduled individually upon the client’s request.

Participant's requirements:

* 14 years of age or older

*  Standard cost of the course: 950PLN

The prices are valid until 31 of October 2025.

The price includes:

* theoretical and practical training – 6 hours of manoeuvring classes booked individually every day between 10AM and 6PM

* There is a possibility to purchase a “Vademecum Motorowodne” handbook by Jan Jałoszyński for the price of 120PLN

Costs of the PZMWiNW exam and licence:

* 250PLN for the exam, 50 PLN for the licence + shipping costs (students and pupils up to 26 years old are eligible for a 50% discount upon showing a valid student ID)

Documents required:

* ID of school or student photocopy (for those applying for a discount)

* Written parental consent (applies to minors)

* 3.5 x 4.5 cm photo (standard)

Permissions of the motorboat license holder:

* Using motorboats on inland waterways without engine power or hull length restrictions

* Using motorboats on inland waterways and other marine waters within 2 nautical miles of the coast and during daylight hours (yacht length up to 12 m hull length)

* People under 16 years of age are illegible to use boats with engines up to 60kW (80HP)
